Caton M. Savage, MS, RD is a Registered Dietitian specializing in medical nutrition therapy. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from James Madison University then completed her Dietetic Internship at McNeese State University where she received her Masters of Science in Health and Human Performance.
Since moving back to Virginia, Caton has fulfilled her passion for health and nutrition by working in both clinical and community health settings. She provides individual nutrition counseling to patients who are interested in improving overall health and quality of life through lifestyle changes. She educates on how food and diet can affect symptoms of chronic disease while equipping patients with the tools to put positive changes into practice to meet individual goals. She stays up to date with current health research and trends through medical journals, nutrition podcasts, and books written by prominent food journalists, medical doctors, and agricultural researchers.
In her spare time she enjoys experimenting with new recipes and outdoor activities like biking and playing with her dogs.
