Shawna M. Blowe, NP, graduated with a Degree in Biology from East Carolina University in 1995. After graduating, she worked with Virginia Physicians, Inc. as a Clinical Research Coordinator. It was at this time that she decided she wanted to go back to school to obtain her nursing degree. In 2005 she graduated from VCU with a Master’s degree in nursing. While in nursing school she worked on an Oncology/Medical/Surgical unit at MCV.
Upon graduation she worked as a Lung Cancer Coordinator with Henrico Doctor’s Hospital. Shawna was excited to have the opportunity to return to Virginia Physicians, Inc.’s Rheumatology Division in 2006.
Shawna enjoys spending time with her two children. Her hobbies include hiking, biking, and swimming.
